Short Depth of Field

I think the author thought the trees blurred looked good. They wanted the plants in the front to be clear and the trees in the back blurred. He/she probably thought that it was a good contrasting effect. I chose this because I actually do think the trees blurred looks good. I try to get good angles of nature whenever I'm taking pictures.

Even though the picture is not shot in good quality, I chose this picture because I like legos. It takes me back when I was a kid with my own legos playing around with them with my brother. I think that the author wanted to take a picture of the lego man to commemorate the event she was talking about on the page the picture is on. She blurred out the cat to show that the lego man might not want the cat around.

The author wanted us to focus on the bunny. He did that by blurring the background through depth of field. He made this picture simple to understand. I chose this picture because I like bunnies. I also like simple but good pictures.
